Outreach Advice Surgeries have been one of the most popular and high-demand services that we provide. The purpose of our outreach surgeries is to bring advice to people in areas where there is great economic and social disadvantage and where minority groups benefit greatly from an agency advocating on their behalf, making advice easily accessible. We have many people who are highly dependant on our service as advice centres such as the CAB are already over-subscribed. We provide outreach advice surgeries in public spaces such as Public Libraries and also community organisations and groups providing advice on Housing , Welfare Benefits, e.g. working with those who are at risk of being made homeless through evictions and representing in Court as a McKenzie Friend or working with those who are homeless and rough sleepers to access support and accommodation so they can live a normal life. Also, we help disabled and ill clients to access proper support and provisions. We have a 98% user satisfaction rate in all our outreach ongoing complex casework.
